How far in advance should I book?
As far ahead as you like — there is no limit on how early you can reserve your date. As a guide, please book 4 to 6 weeks in advance for smaller events and at least 8 weeks in advance for larger events. If you need a quicker turnaround, please contact us directly and we will let you know if we can accommodate it.
How much do you charge?
See the Packages page for exact prices: Mocktail Experience $395, Pour Experience $495, Deluxe Pour Experience $1,250, Holiday Experience $625, Non-Alcoholic Cocktail Experience $695 (zero-proof spirits supplied by us), plus the intimate evenings — Sangria Mixology Experience from $85/guest, Sangria Crafting Experience from $110/guest, and Cigar & Whisky Experience from $95/guest. Travel beyond 20 miles from Deptford is $1.50 per mile, calculated in your quote; guests over the package cap are +$5 per guest.
How does payment work?
A $100 booking deposit, applied toward your package total, secures your date. It is non-refundable, but transferable. 50% is due within 45 days of the event, and the balance is due one week before. We accept payment through Square; booking links are on the Packages page.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations within 120 days forfeit the deposit. Date-change and refund details beyond that window are confirmed in the client contract before booking.
What is dry hire?
The host supplies the alcohol, or The Define Experience provides a shopping list. Service is TIPS-certified, with liquor and general liability insurance (Canopy, through May 2, 2027).
Where do you serve?
New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Packages include service up to 20 miles from Deptford, NJ; beyond 20 miles, travel is $1.50 per mile, calculated in your quote.
What if we have more guests than the package covers?
Guests over the package cap are +$5 per guest. A 2nd bartender is required at 75+ guests ($250 flat for a 4-hour event).
What is included in setup?
Setup and breakdown are included in every package. Setup typically takes 1 hour; Deluxe portable-bar setups take up to 2 hours. Breakdown is included after service.
Do you offer non-alcoholic options?
Yes. The Mocktail Experience is built around non-alcoholic craft drinks, and mocktail options are available for guests who are not drinking alcohol at any event.
Do you bring extra staff?
An additional bartender can be added, priced on quote for your guest count and event length. All bartenders who serve are TIPS-certified.
What kinds of events do you do?
Calm, intimate gatherings: art galleries, art shows, luxury brand events, high-end real-estate open houses, company gatherings, and micro-weddings — plus the two signature evenings, Sangria Mixology Experience and Cigar & Whisky Experience.
